Birthday Party

We had a early birthday party here in Lemoore before Daniel leaves. We invited a few friends over and Emma had a blast. We went out and swam in the little pool. Emma fell down a couple of times and it scared me but she was fine with it. She loved having other kids in there playing with her.

Than we opened presents.
We got her a float for when her and I go to Bear Lake this summer.

And she got a little shopping cart.

We had little cupcakes and ice cream.
Emma got her own cupcake. Well actually she had three of them she really enjoyed them.

She loves her shopping cart.
I can't believe she is almost one. This year went by way fast. It has been wonderful having her and having Daniel with us these last 6 months. We are sad he is going to be leaving again but soon he will be home and not have to go out again. I can't wait for that day to come. Emma and I are excited to go to Utah and be with family for a few months.

Busy Days

It feels like we have been on the go the last couple of weeks her are some pictures I have taken. She has enough hair that I can just put her bow in the hair instead of on a headband. It takes longer for her to take it off when it is in her hair.

She loves wearing my sunglasses.
But not her sunglasses.

I finally let her hold her spoon when she eats. It went better than I thought it would be she needs work still. She now has four teeth on the bottom and two on top with two more coming through.

Pictures

Here are some picture of the last couple of days.

We watched Sydney and Emma did great with her. She would pat her back and give her loves. When Sydney cried Emma would cry with her. She tried to give her a binky, a blanket, and her little stuffed animal. I think Emma is going to love having a little sibling.
We had a going away party for us and some friends.
Emma and her friend Sydney we are sure going to miss her.

They had sprinkles and Emma loved to go through them.

One of the little girls would get the beach ball and give it to Emma and wouldn't let anyone take it from her.

Passing the ball back and forth.

Yosemite

Daniel took leave this week and we were able to go up to Yosemite National Park. It's about a 2 1/2 hour drive from our house. We stayed at the Tanaya Lodge. It was beautiful up there. We took lots of pictures and I am really sorry that I posted so many pictures, I just want to let everyone see what we saw.
We stayed in the Cottages. The Tenaya just got them back in December.
This was the balcony that we had.We went for a walk around the Cottages and found a little garden in front of one of them.
They had a playground we played on.

The swimming pool

The arcade was painted.
They had all sorts of things in the lobby. There was a cool thing over the doors. It had a minature cabin displayed with deer and trees around it. I tried to take a picture, but the window behind it let in too much sun light to get proper lighting.

We had a little walk to get to the pool so Daniel had to put his socks and shoes on.

Daniel spent some time figuring out which way was best for carrying Emma in the snugli.
We went on a guided tour. We got on a bus at 8:30 am, which took us through the Park. We made several stops and learned information about the Park. It was a great way to learn about the history of the park and the interesting areas to visit. We saw some Sequioa trees.

Snow flowers

This one is the biggest one, with branches that are 6 feet around.
A long time ago, people cut tunnles in the trees to get carts around easier.
We saw some deer when we stopped to get pictures on a waterfall.

Bridalveil Falls
We got to go right up to it.
Yosemite Valley
Yosemite Falls
We got to go right up to the bottom of it.

This is one of the hotels that is in Yosemite Valley. You have to pay lots to stay here around $400-$1200 a night.

Half Dome

The next day we went thourgh the west entrance so we could see new things.
