Long week

Well Daniel went back to work this week meaning I was alone for most of the day with both girls. Monday both girls had doctor appointments and Wednesday we had to go to Lemoore to sign up for WIC. With Daniel back at work it meant we all had to be up and out of the house at 6:30 am so that I could have the car. They were two very long days but I made it through them. When I was just at home it wasn't bad but trying to go out and do things on my own took a lot out of me. this week we found out that Daniel isn't going to Japan. YAY!!! We are going to be staying here in Lemoore till we move to Maryland sometime this summer. On Tuesday we put up our tree. I wasn't going to put it up this year but now that we aren't moving I deiced we should. I was worried Emma was going to pull everything off but she has been good so far. She will go up to the tree and touch it. Friday she did pull on off and bring it to me after she couldn't get it back on. I put it back on and told her not to take them off to just look. So now she goes up to the tree and shakes her head no.

She is such a ham. I asked her to smile so she did this. I wish it would have been less blurry.

We went to church today and Emma went to nursery for the first time. Daniel took her because I knew I would have a hard time leaving her. Daniel said he took her there and she got down ran to the toys and started playing so he left. When one of the ladies saw me she told me she was doing great. When I went to get her after church she had tears on her cheeks and the lady said that she did great till the other kids started leaving. I am glad she had fun they had a lesson on Jesus and she colored a picture.

Emma

I went and signed up for WIC and they had to get Emma's weight and height. She is 21 lbs and 39 in. I didn't get that info at the doctors so I thought that I would share it now that I know it.

Doctors

Mary had her 2 week check up and Emma had her 18 month check up. Mary's went good. She is 8 lbs and 9 oz so she is growing good. And she is looking good with everything. Emma on the other hand. She has croup and an ear infection. There isn't anything for croup but she is on antibiotics for her ear ache. She has only been taking it for one day and I can tell it is helping her feel better. Yay for medication. I didn't get her weight and height but she grew from the last time and is back within range but still low on the charts. The doctor hopes she will gain more by the next time we go in. I think she is just going to take after her dad and be small so I am not worried about it. The doctor told me ways to get her to gain and eat more. But I think she eats fine she eats almost anything we give her. We will just have to see what happens at her 2 year check up. I can't believe how fast this last year and half as gone. She is getting so big. She is doing great with Mary as well. I have been trying to keep them apart because I don't want Mary to get sick. Emma does okay sometimes there are moments that she wants to get to Mary and there is no stopping her. But last night I had Mary on the floor and she was just looking around and Emma was sitting by her playing with toys for about 30 minutes. Daniel and I are very blessed.

All we can get Emma to eat/drink is juice.
