We went to Romp-n-Stomp (play group with the base) and we lost Mary's sweater and I am so sad it was only her 2nd time wearing it. She looked so cute and grown up in it.

Mary got to wear her underwear to church and told her nursery leaders when she had to go! She didn't need to go she only farted but I am so glad she was able to tell them without having to be reminded.

January 28th
Getting ready to go to the store. Mary is wear big girl underwear to the store for the first time and she did good and told us when she needed to go! I was worried but we made it out safe. She has been doing so good and wearing them at night without any accidents!!

I have been trying to decide if I wanted to cut the back of Mary's hair for awhile but just keep putting it off. I didn't want to cut it because it wasn't very long and I waited longer with Emma. When I cut Emma's I loved it though so tonight when Mary got out of the bath I decided to just do it.

Trying to get her to hold her hair was a trick she really didn't want to touch it

Cutting Emma's hair was much easier because she sits still. Mary was all over the place and looking around. But I am so glad I cut it I think it turned out so cute and she looks much better.

Mary wasn't feeling well and just laid around all day. It was sad but at the same time it was fun to cuddle with her. She is not very cuddly so it was nice I just wish she wasn't so miserable.

When Mary was up all night Saturday night I told Emma we weren't going to church she was so sad. So I called a friend to see if she would take her and she said yes. Emma was so happy

We were going to open gifts on Tuesday because Daniel has to work this weekend. But last night at 10:30 he calls and tells me he is getting off early and that we should do gifts in the morning.

So the girls were very surprised to see all the gifts under the tree

Emma really wanted to open and play with everyone of her presents before going to the next. But she couldn't get them open and Mary was just opening one after another so Emma wanted to keep up with her.

It was a great Christmas and so fun to watch the girls open there gifts I was glad we were able to do it today. Now have a whole week to play with everything and have Daniel home to enjoy it as well. This was the 1st year that we have had Christmas at home. Well I have to go and play Nickelodeon Dance with the girls!

December 22nd Emma got her hair cut. Daniel has been saying for awhile that we should do it but I haven't really done anything about it. He got home from work and asked Emma if she wanted it cut she was worried about it going brown if we cut it. We told her that it was already brown and it will only turn different colors when cut in movies. I had a hard time cutting her bangs but they look cute and it is now all even. I didn't want to cut her bangs because I didn't want people to think that she cut her hair but she didn't and I hope that never changes.

So Emma got her glasses today. We went to the eye doctors last Friday the 9th of December because one of her eyes keeps wandering. What we found out is that her left eye is stronger than her right so her left was doing all the work and the right couldn't see so it just wandered in. We try the glasses for 2 months than go in and they will see if the glasses are all she needs. If the glasses don't fix the wandering eye than we will have to do an eye patch. I told Emma that she had to wear her glasses all the time and that I would wear mine with her so that we can be alike and both have glasses. Me and the girls went looking at glasses on Saturday and went to 6 stores and she tried on so many glasses. She was so cute she would put them on look in the mirror and say they were to big or to tight and put them back get another pair and say they didn't fit her nose. She found some that she loved at the 5th store but I had to look at the last one at the mall but she wanted the one that fit just right. So today we went back with Daniel and got them. They have the sunglasses that hook on she was so excited to show Daniel that she could do it all by herself. We had to wait an hour for the lenses to be put in so we walked around the mall. When we went back she got to put them on and at looked in the mirror and smiled. When we left the store she was looking around and told Daniel she could see better father away. Has we drove home and she was watching the movie we saw her looking over the top. The doctor did warn me that she would have a hard time wearing them. Because she can still see without them on. Like if I take my glasses off I would run into walls because I can't see. Daniel and I have been reminding her but I think she will get better as she gets used to looking through them. She loves them and I think she will do good at wearing them. And she looks so cute in them!! And I forgot to mention her favorite part of them is they have sunglasses that go on the when she goes outside. She thinks that is the best thing to have her sunglasses on.

I got this vacuum at Target the day after Thanksgiving sale for $9 so that I could vacuum the stairs. But Emma loves this and will ask me everyday if we can have mommy and Emma time so that we can we vacuum.

Well 2 years has gone fast. We have are so blessed to have her in our lives. She is so fun to be around and watch grow up. Her and Emma get along so well and it is fun to just sit back and watch them both play.

My grandma Smith passed away and we were able to fly back to Utah for the funeral. She was ready to go and is now happy and with my grandpa again. It was great to see family and hear all the wonderful stories.
